André Kneubühler becomes new executive chef

André Kneubühler is a promising talent who will take over from the previous head chef Tony Rudolph: Tanja Grandits’ sous-chef since 2019 (2 Michelin stars, 19 GaultMillau points), the 30-year-old can look back on a wealth of experience in top gastronomy.

“We are delighted that we have been able to recruit André Kneubühler,” emphasises Christian Eckert, Managing Director. “With his own team, his expertise and his creative approach, he will give our Alpine Excellence concept his own distinctive signature.” Benjamin Anderegg will assist him as Executive Sous-Chef.

Tony Rudolph was instrumental in developing and refining the vegetarian-influenced “Alpine Excellence” concept. “His strong commitment to regionality and sustainability has given our cuisine a new authenticity,” thanks the hotel management.

Executive Chef Tony Rudolph rewarded with 16 Gault&Millau points

We’re absolutely thrilled to see Chef Tony Rudolph’s Alpine-inspired cuisine achieving such well-deserved acclaim at THE OMNIA!

“At THE OMNIA, the restaurant’s breathtaking Zermatt location and its wonderfully laid-back atmosphere truly shine, as does the adept service, always attuned to your individual preferences. The wine selection masterfully blends renowned labels with hidden gems, and the vegetarian menu (with fish and meat available as delightful accompaniments), completes the experience. And, of course, Chef Tony Rudolph’s ingenuity and culinary prowess elevate it all.”
